Dannie Flesher - R.I.P.

We here at 13th Planet have heard the very sad news of the passing of WaxTrax! founder Dannie Flesher, who, in association with his partner Jim Nash, spearheaded one of the most prominent independent labels of the 80s, and in association with Chicago Trax, helped to launch a genre that would become known as industrial.

Together, Jim and Dannie provided an environment of artistic freedom and expression to artists such as Ministry, RevCo, KMFDM, Thrill Kill Kult, just to name a few.

Thank you Jim and Dannie for all your love, support, diligence and vision.
